For several years, during the months of August or September, the mobile Veterans at the Butler, PA VA Health Care System enjoy a boat trip at the Moraine State Park.

This years' outing was enjoyed by two groups of Veterans led by the UVS Representative, Virginia Bishop, and assistant, Barb Taylor. The Veterans were transported to the park where a delicious lunch was served before the boat tour.

Virginia worked closely with the Recreation Therapy staff at the VA in planning these two wonderful days for our hospitalized men and women. United Veterans Services is proud to be able to sponsor these trips each year---and many thanks to the volunteers who made it possible.
